Phytoncides are BVOC’s (biogenic volatile organic compounds) and are currently the subject of intense Phyto-Medicine research by many institutes including the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. They are the focus of very active and ongoing early-phase medical research into oncology and chemoprevention.

Phytoncides are not yet an approved cancer cure, but research has shown compelling chemopreventative and antiproliferative results in laboratory models and early human trials.

Phytoncides enhance the activity of NK (Natural Killer cells), crucial for fighting infections and tumors. They lower stress hormones like Cortisol to promote relaxation and mood enhancement and ease anxiety and promote good sleep patterns.

Inhaled Phytoncides are proven to lower cortisol levels, reduce Blood Pressure and boost NK (Natural Killer) cells to activate immunity.
