But back to the original concept of "what is art". On our website we make the statement "our mission is to conceive & create one-of-a-kind statement pieces by hand through texture,contrast & mixed media". Is this the definition of art, the act of conceiving and creating something. Perhaps another one could be "anything that inspires and pleases the eye"??? Works for me!
