Cherry Bowl with thong

I named this piece "All Laced Up"

It is a 6.5" wide and 3" high bowl hand turned from wet Cherry wood.

Fruit wood warps into interesting organic shapes and often cracks as it dries, so I turned the crack into a design opportunity by lacing it up with a leather thong which I finished with pretty turquoise beads.
