Embellishment for Wood-turners

This course is for wood-turners who would like to take their turned pieces to a new level but adding unique embellishments to turn them from a utilitarian object to a collectable piece of art.

Participants are invited to bring the bowls and vessels that they would like to transform and we will provide a variety of tools, equipment and suggestions for a wide range of embellishment.

The techniques used may include carving, airbrushing, painting with acrylic and India inks, the use of chalk paint and block-out medium, beading, the use of water color pencils and many more.
